A Message from the director

Thank you for your interest in the StL Force Baseball & Fastpitch 2019-2020 season tryouts. Our coaches are currently working to complete tryout assessments and finalize rosters over the coming weeks. The most up to date rosters can be found by selecting the "Rosters" tab above or be selecting a team button below.

If you find that a roster is not populated, please return to the site to check for the latest updates or monitor social media channels for roster update announcements. We're simply unable to respond to each and every phone call, email and social media message regarding the status of your player tryout.

We've experienced a lot of excitement and overwhelming response to our tryouts this year. To date, we have received over 275 baseball registrations and 200 softball registrations for the upcoming season. I wish we could personally respond to everyone but we feel that posting the final rosters on our website is the most efficient way to inform everyone and allow families to make decisions about the upcoming season.

Please keep in mind, for our organization to be successful and provide a quality program for our members, we must operate with a limited number of teams and positions at each age level.

If your child has been selected to play for our organization, congratulations! Welcome to StL Force Baseball & Fastpitch, one of the top baseball/softball programs in our region! Your coach will be contacting you about next steps for joining the organization.

If your child has not been selected to play with our organization, we sincerely appreciate your interest in the StL Force. One of our most difficult responsibilities is making decisions about who will play for the organization and who will not. We take this responsibility very seriously.

Please keep in mind, it is not uncommon for players who did not make the team to keep working on their skills but still be selected to play the following year. In some cases, a player may be contacted in the following months after tryouts if a position opens up.

Remember, don't be discouraged if your player is not selected. There are ways to improve skills and abilities and still be selected at one of the future tryouts. We encourage players to play in an organized league, attend baseball camps and commit to a weekly schedule of private lessons.

We wish all St. Louis area baseball and softball families the very best. If your player was not selected, we hope he/she is not discouraged from playing or attending one of our tryouts in the future.

Sincerely,
Sal McGhee
